South African singer Azuredé is rapidly becoming one of Africa’s most exciting new voices.
She is Known for her unique blend of Amapiano, Afro-house, and her signature Three-Step sound a sub-genre of Afro-house.
Currently completing an African tour, Azuredé is using the momentum to solidify her presence while building anticipation for her debut EP, Love Is Not Enough.

Speaking to HIPTV, Azuredé opened up about the personal experiences that shaped her distinctive sound. She explained that Three-Step is a sub-genre of Afro-house with unique rhythmic elements that set her music apart.
“The main thing that makes it special is its structure and rhythm,” she said, reflecting on what shaped her artistic identity.
Despite being called “the next big global voice from South Africa,” Azuredé says fame has never intimidated her: “When I was getting into the industry, I knew what I wanted to do. I’ve always envisioned myself as a successful artiste, and I understand that it comes with a lot of hard work,” she shared.
Azuredé also addressed the viral Instagram Live moment where she was arrested by the police. She explained that the live session was part of a strategy for the release of her new single, Helele, but acknowledged how quickly narratives can change online.
“People control what you put out there, so the story can shift fast,” she noted.
She emphasised that her African tour is about ensuring her name is recognised widely while preparing for her EP release.
“I am completing my African tour to make sure my name is being heard and on my EP. I’m excited that I will finally release my EP which is called Love Is Not Enough.”
On her latest single, Helele, Azuredé shared that she wanted the track to evoke healing and energy. “I want people to feel chanting and positivity when they listen. Big shout-out to my producer,” she added.
She urges fans to stream the track on Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube, a move she hopes will bring her music to even wider audiences.
