Ivory Coast produced a dramatic comeback to defeat Gabon 3–2, overturning a two-goal deficit to finish as Group F winners and book a place in the AFCON last 16.

Despite missing injured captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Gabon stunned the defending champions with two first-half goals. Guelor Kanga struck first before Denis Bouanga doubled the lead, exposing gaps in the Ivorian defence.
The Ivorians found a lifeline before the break when Jean-Philippe Krasso finished from close range after a low Wilfried Zaha cross, cutting the deficit to 2–1 and swinging momentum.
Ivory Coast pressed relentlessly in the second half. Evann Guessand headed in the equaliser in the 84th minute, setting up a tense finish. In stoppage time, teenage substitute Bazoumana Touré rose highest to nod home the winner and complete the comeback.
The win took Ivory Coast to seven points, topping Group F ahead of Cameroon on goals scored. Gabon exited the tournament without a point. Ivory Coast will face Burkina Faso in the round of 16 next Tuesday in Marrakech.
