The trailer for Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone has set a new benchmark, becoming the most-watched trailer in the history of HBO and HBO Max.
In its first 48 hours, the teaser reached 277 million organic views, more than double the previous record for the network.

The series, adapted from the bestselling novels by J.K. Rowling, is scheduled to debut on HBO and stream on HBO Max during the 2026 Christmas season.
