Akon is set to release a new studio album titled “Beautiful Day” on April 22, 2026, marking his return to full-length projects after a period of limited releases.
Album Details and Collaborations
The album will feature the lead single “Akon’s Beautiful Day,” along with other tracks including “Never Really Mattered” with sister group SIMIEN and “Que Calor” with DJ and producer OCHOK.
Additional appearances on the project include Stephen Marley, Ozuna, and Tears of Joy.
The album continues Akon’s signature cross-genre style, blending Afrobeats, Latin influences, and contemporary R&B.
Upcoming Global Tour
Earlier in January, Akon and Ne-Yo announced their co-headlining “Nights Like This” global tour.
The tour will begin on April 24, 2026, in Dublin at the 3Arena.
The UK leg will include stops in Newcastle, Glasgow, and London, before the North American leg kicks off on June 17, 2026, in Vancouver.
Additional performances are scheduled through August 21, 2026, at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood.
