A 14-Track Album Led by “SWIM”
The 14-track album includes the lead single SWIM.
RM holds songwriting and composing credits across every track, highlighting his central role in the album’s creation. International producers also contributed to the project, bringing additional variety to the group’s signature musical style.
Exploring Identity and Cultural Roots
BigHit Entertainment describes the collection as “a deeply reflective body of work” exploring BTS’s identity and Korean cultural roots.
The album’s title draws inspiration from Arirang, a traditional folk song long associated with themes of connection, distance and reunion across generations.
Special Comeback Performance in Seoul
The release will be accompanied by a live performance event titled BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE | ARIRANG, scheduled for March 21 at Gwanghwamun Square.
Continuing BTS’s Global Chart Success
“Arirang” follows BTS’s previous chart-topping projects, including Be and Proof.
The group has earned six No.1 albums on the Billboard 200 and six No.1 hits on the Billboard Hot 100.
BigHit Entertainment emphasised the album’s artistic and cultural significance, positioning it as a major milestone in BTS’s discography.
