Miley Cyrus will be honoured with the Innovator Award at the iHeartRadio Music Awards scheduled for March 26, 2026, at the Dolby Theatre.
The award recognises artistes whose creative direction has influenced music culture over several years.
Joining a List of Influential Honourees
The honour places Cyrus among influential figures previously recognised by the iHeartRadio Music Awards, including:
- Beyoncé
- Taylor Swift
- Alicia Keys
- Bruno Mars
- Pharrell Williams
- Lady Gaga

Executives from iHeartMedia, including John Sykes, President of Entertainment Enterprises, and Tom Poleman, Chief Programming Officer, described the honour as a celebration of artistry and cultural impact in an official press release.

Celebrating Music Across Genres
The iHeartRadio Music Awards celebrate the achievements of artistes across multiple genres, including pop, hip-hop, R&B, country, rock, dance, Latin, and regional Mexican music.
Ludacris Returns as Host
Ludacris will return as host for the second time in three years. He will also receive the Landmark Award, which recognises performers whose catalogue has shaped culture across several decades.
Breakthrough Honour for Alex Warren
Alex Warren will receive the Breakthrough Artiste of the Year award following the success of his single Ordinary.
The track spent 10 weeks at number one on the Billboard Hot 100. It also earned nominations at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2025 and a Best New Artist nomination at the Grammy Awards in 2026.
Special Performances Announced
The ceremony will feature performances from:
- Lainey Wilson
- RAYE
R&B groups TLC, Salt-N-Pepa, and En Vogue will also appear together for a special joint performance.
