Bad Bunny Sets Super Bowl Halftime Viewership Record

Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl performance has become the most watched show ever in the history of the National Football League. The show reached 4.157 billion views within 24 hours. The figure accounts for U.S. and international broadcasts, YouTube streams, and other digital platforms.

A Historic Night at Super Bowl LX

The halftime show, at Super Bowl LX, where the Seattle Seahawks crushed the New England Patriots, took place on February 8, 2026 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.

The U.S. television audience for the halftime show was reported at 128.2 million viewers. Roc Nation, an American entertainment company founded by Jay-Z and co-producer of the performance, noted that these figures mark an unprecedented scale for any halftime show in history.

In a statement, Roc Nation said:

“The 24-hour viewership combined both traditional and digital platforms, marking a historic achievement in live global entertainment.”

Streaming Dominance and Chart Success

The record reflects the artiste’s strong influence on streaming services. Bad Bunny was Spotify’s most-streamed artiste in 2025, continuing a record previously achieved in 2020, 2021, and 2022.

His album “DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS” retained the number one spot on the Billboard Global 200 for five weeks and returned to the top of the Billboard 200 albums chart on 28 February 2026.

International charts also reflected the performance’s impact. The album held the number one spot on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart for a third consecutive week. Analysts noted that streams and sales surged across multiple countries immediately following the halftime show.

Global Expansion and Record-Breaking Concerts

Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime show underscored his global prominence in live music. Following the record-breaking performance, he made his Australian debut with two sold-out concerts at ENGIE Stadium in Sydney.

Combined attendance approached 89,000 fans, the highest ever recorded for any concert at the venue, further cementing his status as one of the world’s most influential live performers
