Cardi B is demanding full disclosure of the financial records of judgement debtor blogger Tasha K. The rapper is also demanding an in-person examination of Tasha K’s income statements. The move comes nearly a year after the two reached a settlement over a $3.9 million defamation judgment.
Bankruptcy Court Filings Reveal New Demands
Court documents from Tasha K’s ongoing bankruptcy case in Florida reveal that Cardi B is seeking detailed information about income generated from YouTube and other social media platforms. The rapper is also requesting copies of tax returns and financial paperwork related to Tasha K’s business operations.
Legal filings specify that Tasha K must appear in person for a formal examination under oath.
Background of the $3.9 Million Defamation Judgment
The dispute began after Tasha K made false claims about Cardi B, including allegations of drug use and engaging in prostitution. The case went to trial, resulting in a $3.9 million judgment in favour of Cardi B.
In March 2025, the parties agreed to a settlement in which Tasha K would pay $1.2 million over five years. The agreement required quarterly submission of financial records and prohibited Tasha K from posting derogatory content about Cardi B or her family.
Enforcement of the Settlement Agreement
Cardi B’s legal team is requesting further accountability as part of enforcing the judgment. Approximately $176,532 has been paid so far under the first year of Tasha K’s five-year repayment plan.
Tasha K’s bankruptcy filings list limited assets, including:
- A truck valued at $46,000
- Overall assets of roughly $12,000
Cardi B’s legal team has also issued subpoenas to Tasha K’s husband seeking disclosure of his assets.
