Demi Lovato has cancelled five shows and rescheduled one date on her upcoming It’s Not That Deep Tour. The announcement was made via her Instagram account.
The affected tour stops include Nashville, Atlanta, Las Vegas, Denver, and Charlotte, North Carolina. The Orlando, Florida show has been rescheduled to 13 April and will now serve as the tour’s opening performance.
Lovato Cites Health and Recovery
Lovato explained the reason for the cancellations in her post:
“To protect my health, and ensure I can give you my all at each show, I need to build in more time to rest and rehearse and adjust to a schedule with more time off”.
She added:
“I am so sad to say that I will no longer be able to see you on this tour and I am so sorry to those who planned to be there”.
Tour Supports 2025 Album
The tour supports Lovato’s 2025 album It’s Not That Deep, which debuted at number nine on the Billboard 200 and reached number one on Billboard’s Top Dance Albums chart.
Past Reflections on Health Challenges
Lovato has previously spoken publicly about challenges with mental health, eating disorders, and maintaining sobriety.
In June 2024, at the Center for Youth Mental Health at NewYork-Presbyterian benefit, she said:
“I have been to inpatient treatment five times, and every single time I walked back into a treatment centre, I felt defeated. But the glimmer of hope was when I started putting in the work and build relationships there.”
