The Recording Academy has confirmed that all eight Best New Artiste nominees will perform at the 2026 Grammy Awards on 1 February. Katseye, Olivia Dean, Addison Rae, The Marías, Lola Young, Sombr, Alex Warren, and Leon Thomas will share one stage during a special segment at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
The format allows viewers to see each act before the category is decided. It also gives new names a global stage in front of millions of people.
Rising Names Enter Global Spotlight
Katseye enters the night with two nominations, including Best New Artiste and Best Pop Duo or Group Performance. Addison Rae arrives after the strong run of her debut album Addison. Olivia Dean follows a year shaped by The Art of Loving, which placed her in wider international view.
Alex Warren joins the line-up after “Ordinary” led the United States chart for ten weeks. Leon Thomas holds the most nominations in the group, including Album of the Year for Mutt. Lola Young appears with multiple nods, including Best Pop Solo Performance. Sombr earns a place through his debut album I Barely Know Her.
Ceremony Details And Broadcast Plans
The ceremony will air live on CBS and Paramount+ at 5 p.m. Pacific Time. Trevor Noah will return as host for the sixth and final time. He will also serve as an executive producer for the show, bringing his six-year run to a close on the Grammy stage.
