Lagos hosted an extended night of music and live performances as Quickteller InsomniaQ took place on 21 December 2025 at The Lagos Continental Hotel, Victoria Island. The event brought together live bands, solo performers, DJs, and a diverse audience for a continuous all-night music experience.
Live Performances That Set the Night in Motion
The evening opened with a live band performance by Made Kuti, who set the pace for the night. He took the audience through a selection of 1990s-era songs, including Trouble, Bang Bang, and Scatter, drawing steady engagement from the crowd.
Performances continued with Brymo, whose set shifted the tone of the night before live band performances from the Aristotle Band and Maze N Xtreme. The Loud Urban Choir also took the stage, adding a choral performance that expanded the musical range of the programme.
High-Energy Solo Performances
As the night progressed, Niniola delivered a high-energy set, performing songs including Ginger Me, All Eyes on Me, and Want. Her performance heightened crowd movement inside the venue and carried the event deeper into the night. Patoranking followed, performing Abule and Love You Die, sustaining the momentum.
Late-Night DJ Session And Event Close
The final phase of InsomniaQ saw Alternate Sound take over, transitioning the experience into a DJ-led late-night session that carried the event into the early hours. Quickteller InsomniaQ concluded as a continuous celebration of music, blending live performance and nightlife culture in Lagos.
