Nas and DJ Premier have announced a major international expansion of their acclaimed NY State of Mind Tour. The new leg adds headline shows in London, Tokyo, and Sydney throughout 2026.
This series of concerts celebrates the 30th anniversary of Nas’ landmark debut album, “Illmatic”. The original North American run in 2025 sold over 150,000 tickets.
The international dates are scheduled to begin at London’s OVO Arena Wembley on May 15. The tour will then move to Tokyo’s Ariake Arena on June 2, before concluding at Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena on June 12.
The performances will feature special guests from the Wu-Tang Clan, including Method Man, Ghostface Killah, and Raekwon, on select dates. This lineup aims to recreate the East Coast energy that once defined 1990s hip-hop.
In a joint statement, Nas emphasized the global connection to the music: “Bringing ‘Illmatic’ to life with Preemo in these cities feels right. The love for this music is global; in London, Tokyo, and Sydney, they all know every word. We’re giving them the full experience.”
DJ Premier confirmed the inclusion of new material, stating, “We’re not just playing the classics; we’re dropping new joints we’ve been cooking up all night, making. This is history in motion.”
Tickets for the newly announced international dates are scheduled to go on sale on Friday, December 12.
