Manchester United moved up to sixth in the Premier League table after a convincing 4–1 away win over Wolves on Monday.
Manchester United opened the scoring in the 25th minute through Bruno Fernandes. Wolves pulled level just before halftime when Jean‑Ricner Bellegarde converted a rebound following a loose clearance. The goal was the club’s first league goal in 6 matches.
United struck back decisively after the break. Just seven minutes into the second half, Bryan Mbeumo tapped in from close range after a swift counter-attack. Then, in the 62nd minute, Mason Mount added a third with a well-placed finish.
The score was sealed in the 82nd minute when Fernandes netted a penalty after a handball was confirmed by VAR. United registered 27 attempts on goal, the most under their current manager this season.
For Wolves, the defeat extended their league-record run to eight straight losses. The club remains bottom of the table with just two points from 15 matches.
