Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner are set to face off in an exhibition match in South Korea just eight days before the start of the 2026 Australian Open.
The highly anticipated encounter, dubbed the Hyundai Card Super Match, will take place in Incheon on January 10, with the Australian Open main draw beginning on January 18 in Melbourne.
“For domestic tennis fans, it will be the very first opportunity to see the two top-ranked players compete,” tournament organisers said in a statement.
Sinner recently reclaimed the world number one ranking from Alcaraz following his 6-4, 7-6 (7-4) victory over Felix Auger-Aliassime in the Paris Masters final. That triumph lifted the Italian 250 points above Alcaraz ahead of the season-ending ATP Finals in Turin on November 9.
Alcaraz leads their head-to-head record 10–5. They each won two grand slam tournaments apiece in 2025.
Their exhibition clash in South Korea will mark the 16th meeting between the two.
