Rapper 21 Savage has confirmed that his new album titled What Happened to the Streets? will be released this Friday. The rapper posted a brief “Friday!” message on X, while streaming platforms displayed a fourteen-track project under the same title.
The announcement linked directly to a recent inflatable artwork designed by British-Nigerian artiste Olaolu Slawn, displayed the initials “WHTTS”, matching the album’s title
This method of release is consistent with the rapper’s practice of keeping track titles and collaborators’ names under wraps ahead of the launch of the album.
This project follows the rapper’s 15-track American Dream album. 21-Savage has kept a limited musical presence this year, appearing only on selected collaborations with Lil Baby and Summer Walker.
The complete tracklist and any guest participations are expected to appear close to the Friday’s release date.
